BENSANG

ABOUT ME

My name is Ben Sang, I'm from Buckinghamshire in the UK, close by to London.

I’m a dancer, singer, actor, choreographer and creative.

Since a young child, I have been obsessed with performing arts, from organising and choreographing shows, to writing and composing songs and music on the piano.

During secondary school, I trained at a dance school in Hertfordshire, earning straight A’s in every exam, and competing nationwide, winning numerous awards. After secondary school, I trained in musical theatre at a college in Hertfordshire. By this point, I had already landed many roles in shows at The Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage. Shows include: Footloose, Guys and Dolls, Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, Wizard of Oz, Jack & The Beanstalk and Disney's Aladdin and The Jungle Book Junior.

I then trained professionally at Urdang in London, graduating a three-year course in Musical Theatre and Dance. Performing credits with Urdang include Fame the musical and Move It (London Olympia).

Since graduating from Urdang, I have worked professionally as a performer, teacher, choreographer and creative director.

Theatre credits include: Wizard of Oz Pantomime (UK Tour), Beauty and the Beast Pantomime (UK Tour), Aladdin Pantomime (The Sands Centre), Peter Pan Pantomime (Ipswich Regent), and Aladdin Pantomime (Guildhall Arts Centre) as Aladdin.

In 2014 I started my journey with The Walt Disney Company, first as a dancer and performer at Disneyland Paris, then joining the Disney Entertainment Events team in London. I then went on to work at Hong Kong Disneyland for several years, as a dancer and maintenance choreographer, and now continue to work for Disney events.

Television and film credits include: Britain's Got Talent (ITV), Eastenders (BBC), Sport Relief (BBC), Crims (BBC Three), Queen Charlotte (Netflix), Disney Special (Fox), Tell Me Everything (ITV), Slow Horses (Apple TV+), Guitar Hero (Activision), Star Wars Media (Lucasfilm), Disney Parks Adverts (Disney).

Directing credits include Fame and Peter Pan (Stantonbury Theatre) for Rare Productions. I also became the founder and creative director for Dancecode Performing Arts School in Milton Keynes UK, and now run performing workshops around the UK for Atlantis Productions.
